Wedgewood x Tantalus Blanc de Noir 2021
In celebration of the Wedgewood Hotel’s 40th anniversary, this commemorative Blanc de Noir has been created in collaboration with Tantalus Vineyards. This wine is a tribute to the hotel’s enduring passion for hospitality, and reflecting the artistry, elegance, and sense of place that unite the iconic Wedgewood with this prestigious winery. Hand-picked from a single block of Pinot Noir planted in 2006, this wine is a wonderfully poised sparkling made with longevity and refinement in mind.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of yellow raspberry, crushed apples, pecans, and fire roasted sourdough emerge from the glass. The palate is unctuous yet focused with fresh acidity. Bright and lively notes of green apple, raspberries, and orange zest with lemon cream shining through to take the wine from it’s fruity upfront expression to a more mineral-driven autolytic finish.
